How do credits work?
Credits are used to keep track of your usage. 1 message = ~1 credit.
Fast models will cost less credits, while premium models will cost more credits. As a rough estimate:
- Fast models: 1 credit ≈ 2-4 messages
- Pro & Expert models: 1 credit ≈ 1 message
Longer messages require more credits, and shorter ones require less.
Credits are refilled at the start of each month, regardless of whether or not you are billed yearly or monthly.
Do credits carry over?
Yes! Unused credits will carry over to the next month.
How much does a message cost?
Credits are not charged by message, but by usage. Shorter responses will cost less credits than longer ones.
In general, a "fast" model (marked with the "fast" badge) usually cost 1 (or less) credits per message, while expert models (marked with the "expert" badge) can cost 3 or more credits per message. Pro models are a balance between fast and expert. Free models, shockingly, are free.
What if I don't use all my credits?
No problem! Unused credits will carry over to the next month. Just know that new credits will still be added on top of your existing credits.
What if I run out of credits?
If you run out of credits, you can upgrade your plan, or use free models until the next credit refill.
